MULTIMEDIA STARTUP TURNS PASSION INTO PURPOSE
PRODUCTIVE CULTURE CELEBRATES LAUNCH OF NON-PROFIT WITH FOOD POP-UP EAST LOS MUSUBI
Glendora, CA. (April 19, 2021) – After becoming mainstays in the Southern California arts and music scene for their commitment to quality live events, audio production, and community give-back projects, the Productive Culture team has embarked on a new journey by transitioning their operation into an official 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Their efforts kick off with an in-person fundraiser, as well as an online donation hub and merchandise store. All proceeds benefit the organization’s operational budget and upcoming programming expenses.
The fundraiser is a curbside plate pick-up with family-owned pop-up East Los Musubi on Sunday, April 25 and includes a special menu of Hawaii-inspired eats curated by Adam Martinez and Doreen Nakama of East Los Musubi and Hilo, Hawaii native JMKM of Productive Culture. Pre-order time slots are limited and will be released via the East Los Musubi Instagram starting Wednesday, April 21.
Productive Culture is a hybrid media production company/nonprofit with a mission to provide young adults aspiring for creative arts and entrepreneurial-based careers with resources and access to direct hands-on mentorships and employment opportunities that will help better themselves as individuals and productive members in their communities.
Led by artists and community pillars Noreik Thascool (VP) and JMKM (Executive Director), Productive Culture will launch three flagship programs designed to build community wealth by providing mentorships, workshops, and access to safe and educational spaces for artists to create. Programming begins Summer 2021.
Furthermore, they will continue utilizing all media channels to amplify the voices and magnify the vision of the greater Los Angeles and San Bernardino communities.
